Avatar bate todos los records de venta en Blu-ray

¡Impresionante!. Esa es justo la palabra que hay que usar para describir lo que acaba de conseguir el lanzamiento en Blu-ray de la película del momemto: “Avatar”. Y es que no es para menos. sólo en el primer día de ventas en Estados Unidos, ha conseguido vender la la escalofriante cantidad de 1,5 millones de copias, Si! oiste bien todo esto en un día.

De esta forma, se fulmina (y con creces) el último record histórico de ventas en formato Blu-ray, lo tenía la Warner con el lanzamiento de “El Caballero de la noche”. En aquella ocasión (diciembre de 2008) consiguió vender la interesante cifra de 600.000 copias en un sólo día. Hoy en día, eso comparado con los 1,5 millones de Avatar, parece una simple minucia. En cualquier caso, son buenas noticias para el formato, puesto que parece que por fin comienza a despegar…
